Logging into or out of the WBOC website
This is the first in a series of training “posts” on how to:
a) – add your own information directly on to the WBOC website
b) – read WBOC members only information on the WBOC website.
This will be the only training “post” visible to the public. Further training information is available under the “Website Editing” category, which can be found in the “Menu” menu just above “Site Admin/Sign in”. This is only visible when you are logged in.
Only WBOC members will be issued with a username and password for this website. Please contact the Web Master for your login details either via the website “contact form” or via his email address published in the WBOC Newsletter.
All the following pictures can be clicked on to to open fully so they can be read easily.
Firstly how to logon.
On the WBOC website, click on the dropdown menu “Menu” and click on “Sign in” as shown here:

This will take you to the WordPress login box.

This is case sensitive on all characters, so it is important to ensure you have the keyboard set correctly and you enter your username and password exactly as shown in the email that was sent to you.
The editing dashboard will open. On the editing dashboard, click on the “View Site” button if you just want to return to the website and see any previously hidden WBOC members only material. As shown below:
Returning to the logged on website
To return to the editing dashboard, return to the menu which showed “Sign In”. This now shows “Site Admin”, clicking on this will take you back to editing dashboard.

How to Logoff
To logoff, return to editing dashboard page, look to the top right of the webpage and click on “Log Out”, as shown below:

That’s it……. to return to the WBOC website, click on the “Return to the Wilderness Boat Owners Website” link seen at the top left of the login page.
Now if that is too many words, you can see that all in a video. Just press play in the screen below. Note you will have to look at it in full screen mode to see all that is happening, and don’t forget turn on/up the sound if you want to hear my commentary.
