Following the snow in the West Country on the early morning of Wednesday 6th Jan and my College closing, I took advantage of the 4×4 to visit our boat Tophyl still floating on the sea of ice and snow that is the Grand Western Canal at our moorings near East Manley bridge about 3 miles from Tiverton.

The Spring Bank holiday weekend saw another annual IWA trailboat festival take place and what a Grand Western affair it was.
