Slipway on the Southern end of the Canal de Bourgogne, easy access to La Saone and the Canal du Rhone au Rhin. Owned by H2O http://www.h2o-bateau.fr/ Dijon is 35 minutes away by rail from the nearby train station.

The stop boards have now been lifted and the canal is now open. The wardens are going to keep a close eye on the embankment in the coming weeks.

A boat gathering took place on the River Medway in Kent in early May 2009 to help publicise the Enviroment Agency’s new slipway and boaters facilities situated at Allington Lock near Maidstone.

Details: Wide concrete slipway from spacious turning area off a quiet minor road. Not enclosed but rocks alongside allow for mooring whilst moving engine etc. Tarascon (1.5 miles) has a railway station, handy for one way trips.
Parking may be possible at the Capitainerie in Beaucaire (1 mile) or at the Connoisseur hire base (500 metres).
