Villeneuve sur Yonne
This is apparently a public slipway on the opposite side of the river from the medieval town of Villeneuve sur Yonne. Willderness size boats have been seen to launch and recover here.
The is a public dirt based car park above the slipway with plenty of room to maneuver. There are no sides to the slipway so you are launching/ recovering straight into the backwater of this large river. Alongside the slipway is a boat club, with high fences around it. Unless you can contact the secretary of the club, there is nowhere safe to leave your car and trailer here! Try contacting the tourist office for contact details, I did photograph a sing on the side of the clubhouse but it looks like any business has long shut!
There is a railway station on this side of the river nearby, a few hundred meters away.
