The Ward Award – 2019 Photo Competition
As previously announced, the Ward Award Photo competition is being run again this year and we have received over 40 photos for members to vote on. A BIG thank you from the Committee to all members who took the trouble to send photos in. Just to ensure all photo’s sent in have been received. Please would members who have sent in photo’s, check to see that they are in the display.
Each photo has a number (e.g. Photo “n” where “n” is a number) located at the bottom left of the photo, which is displayed if you hover your mouse cursor over the photos. By clicking on any photo you will get a larger version and the photo number is again located at the bottom left.
Please remember that this year, each boat’s vote is completed by ranking the three photos you like the best in order of preference.

Photos in 1st place will get 3 marks, in 2nd place, 2 marks and in 3rd place, 1 mark.
Joint members only have one “boat” vote, which must be sent BY EMAIL to the WBOC secretary by midnight of Friday 3th May. Please remember no member may vote for their own picture. At the AGM, the winner will be chosen from those receiving the majority of emailed votes and the trophy will be awarded there.
To make sorting easier, please make the email subject: Ward Award Vote
When voting, please consider that the photos must have been taken “whilst wandering on waterways” and have a waterways theme but need not include part of a Wilderness boat.
We hope you like the photos that have been submitted by members.
