30 June -1 July Boat gathering as a part of the 5th Leeds Annual Waterfront Festival on the Aire and Calder Navigation at Thwaite Mills Watermill Museum, located in Stourton, 2 miles south of Leeds city centre. Details from elaine.scott@waterways.org.uk.
30 June -1 July Chesterfield Canal Festival at the new Staveley Town Basin. As it is on the isolated western section, it will essentially be a trailboat festival. See link for details.
7-8 July Possible Pool Quay canal festival on the Montgomery Canal, to help celebrate the year long 150th Anniversary celebrations of their village church, St. John’s.
25-26 Aug IWA Campaign Festival at Haslam Park, Preston on the Lancaster canal. Preston Guild is held every 20 years. During this Guild Year the Lancaster Canal is the venue for the Campaign Festival – celebrating the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Ribble Link and encouraging visitors to the Preston area of the Canal.
