Winderness in the snow and ice
Following the snow in the West Country on the early morning of Wednesday 6th Jan and my College closing, I took advantage of the 4×4 to visit our boat Tophyl still floating on the sea of ice and snow that is the Grand Western Canal at our moorings near East Manley bridge about 3 miles from Tiverton.
As you can see there was a bit of snow right across the canal, which is frozen solid! This is about a few hundred yards from the site of the 2008 National Trailboat festival.
